Hardcore draft fans will notice my mock is a little different than most out there. I believe Seattle will recognize that Bayless is a SG in a PG body and decide to try and move the pick. If they can’t make a deal the Sonics could draft anyone including stretching to snag Kevin Love. Love is from the northwest, but the Sonics are trying to move to OKC. Seattle would be smart to pick up a PG at the end of the first round. This draft should be full of trades so that should really shake up this draft. The Knicks are going to do whatever it takes to trade with Minnesota, because they covet OJ Mayo.
The Denver Nuggets are praying that Batum falls to twenty. Batum would develop into an excellent teammate for Carmelo Anthony at the two guard position. The Nuggets have needed to fill this position since they drafted Anthony. The Nuggets likely will recognize that the Melo/ AI experiment was a failure and plan for the future with JR Smith and Batum at the two guard position.
Jawai gets compared to Shaq, but the two couldn’t be more unlike each other (outside of their physical presence). Jawai has a nice mid-range jump shot and he makes his free throws. If you give Glen Davis 4 inches and a verticle- you have Jawai. The Cavs would be smart to pick up Ajinca to eventually replace the aging Ben Wallace.
