Kobe can jump over speeding cars and swimming pools (well sort of), and he can win NBA titles (another is on the way). However, Kobe just can’t win. Recent reports and rumors on the net declare Kobe has had an affair with a Laker Girl, and because of this the Laker Girl was forced to quit. I’m not going to post photos of the girl, and I’m also not going to link to any websites that are reporting this.

The fact of the matter is this is not news. What happened in Eagle, Colorado damaged Kobe Bryant’s reputation unfairly. What this guy did in the privacy of his own hotel room is really none of my business, because it was clear from the beginning that Kobe didn’t break any laws. If this wasn’t a celebrity case the district attorney would never have attempted to prosecute it. The girl involved was an American Idol reject that really had no idea what she wanted. She probably wanted attention, but didn’t like it when she recieved it. From the beginning this girl was difficult for the prosecutors to deal with, and not long after Kobe was charged the girl stopped cooperating with them all together. Even after this they pressed forward.

Kobe’s image took a major hit and his endorsements were suspended until all this blew over. On the court Kobe handled this really well. You know what happens with Kobe and other women is between him and his wife. President Clinton had to deal with this witch hunt as well. He basically got impeached because of the various connotations of sexual relations. Clinton had an intern under his desk, and this is a problem for Bill and Hillary to deal with. I understand why the media reported it, because they ended up getting a lot of quality information about it.

With Kobe the only thing floating around about this is rumors. We have no idea why that Laker Girl left, and anything she says could just be to draw headlines or attention. To her credit I really don’t think she is saying anything. It really doesn’t take much to invent rumors about people. If you don’t have a video, voice confession, or eye witness photos, then I strongly suggest these websites not report this. Maybe it is true and maybe it isn’t. AK47 sleeps with plenty of women and his wife Masha even endorses it. They don’t seem to care, so I suggest everyone go report on that.

What happens between a husband and a wife is really their own business. Let me say that I do encourage anyone that is a victim of abuse or a partner not paying child support to come forward and get some help. I’m not endorsing anyone to treat their wife like Jason Kidd, but if you don’t have the evidence to back up allegations- don’t report them.
